The Marc Fisher Trust was established in November 1994, after Marc's death at the age of 28. Marc suffered from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer of the body's lymphatic system. The Trust was formed in Marc's memory for the sole purpose of raising funds to finance research into new and hopefully more successful treatment for Hodgkins Disease and Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and to produce a vaccine against re-occurrence of the disease after treatment. This research is being carried out at The Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead NW London, where Marc was treated throughout his illness. The Trust received charitable status in April 1995.
